I remember back in 1997, when I first found Redwall, there were Redwall sites all over the internet. Most sites were fan-made, of course, but that's what made them awesome. I loved going to "Loamhedge Abbey" and "Warriors of the Mist", but my absolute favorite site was a Redwall club called "T.O.M." (The Troops of Mossflower.) It's where I met my best friend Eula. We still talk even today. I can only think of one other Redwall site that's still up and running, the Redwall Muck. But, man, when I think of all the Redwall sites that are gone it makes me pretty bummed and nostalgic for the old days. I especially miss the midi music that were on a lot of the sites. My old site "Shadoes Den" is still up, but like a lot of people, I really don't have the time to update it or come up with new material. Like the DAB website, it's pretty much an archive now. It brings back happy memories though so I'd hate to take it down. members.tripod.com/Shadoes_Den/heycomein.htmlAre there any old Redwall sites and clubs that you miss?

I don't think I have any, because I wasn't really on the internet before... But I'd like to say, great website!

Hey a talk show would be fun actually, whenever I see an archive of one, they look like a blast.
My favorite Redwall site that I never was actually on when it was live it Project S.L.A.G.A.R. I stumbled across it several years ago, and by then it was already a decade in the archives. It was hosted by one writer, and he was extremely good at hilarious Redwall parody (and hopefully still is!). These are the 3 things I recommend checking out.
- The Worst Redwall Fanfic Ever - Told from the point of view of a terrible fanfiction writer circa 2004, with all the hilarious tropes of godmodding and 1337 speak that RP sites always seem to have rules about, but we never think we'll need them...
- The Adventures of Superstripe the Unrealistic - The most hilarious parody of a Redwall book I've read, written as if it were an actual Redwall book. This makes me think that this was the reason going "bloodlust" was a banned thing in RPs here on DAB
- Slagar the Cruel - Coast to Coast - The title makes me think of Casey Casums Top 40 from the 80's, but its actually one of those awesome Redwall talk shows! The best part is, a super snarkly Slagar is the host to a whole bunch of Redwall characters who just aren't having it with him.
He has a few other things on his website, but these were my personal favorites. Let me know if you check 'em out! Would love to discuss

I actually just had to leave the Redwall MUCK this past August after 10 years (I'm DoraRose/Blisa/a bunch of others). I just no longer have the time to sit for hours on end RPing in the chat room format, and it's sad.
I honestly miss the ability to just go to any random ROC site and read the RPs. That was always so fun.
Is Redwall: Warlords no longer a thing? I never joined, but I was definitely intrigued by it. Madeline's big sister would have been my character on there, actually, had I ever joined.

I hadn't heard of Warlords before, Madeline , though from a brief read on it, it looks pretty interesting! So was it basically a 4x type strategy game where everyone RP'd as a vermin captain and fought? That sounds really fun! Looking at the site though, it looks like its been discontinued last year, which is kinda sad to see. Wonder if there's anything similar around. And I agree, it's sad to see all the old Redwall sites that grew up while the internet was young disappear. At least the Wayback machine let's you see at least a scattered archive.
