Well. Zeke and I are a bit of an odd sort, and jokingly made reference to DAB characters as Dungeons and Dragons characters a few times. And since I did mention art to Riv... Why not making it a bit of fun, eh?
What I'm trying to do is look for DAB characters that relate to D&D Classes, and will, hopefully, do a sketch or two of them in those roles. I'll try to include as many people as I can. :3 With that said, I am using the third edition's classes, and I might have to use some of the prestige classes to polish this off.
So let's start with what we have to work with! The classes are Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Wizard.
Now, moving on to who I think fits in these rolls...
[li]Cleric[/li]Again, I am having trouble choosing someone. However, I am currently leaning towards Ottie's character Milo for his stern demeanor and unwavering view. Good healers that can take any alignment, are able to pack quite a punch, and typically the leader of a group... Does this seem like a good fit to everyone else?
[li]Druid[/li]Well well well, my favorite class, and I don't even get to keep it for myself. Congrats to Aqua, 'cause she's your healer. They're pretty good with nature, specifically the flora and fauna, and I think that fits the Redwall infirmary keepers pretty well. They have to know plants. They're also level headed and calm the majority of the time.
[li]Fighter[/li]This one was easy. Sup Zeke. You're the fighter. Have fun with those swords. As for everyone else, fighters are pretty much one with their weapons, and can be downright bloodthirsty in combat.
[li]Monk[/li]Hey Kerrin, you made the list again, only this time with your main character! Yup, Kerrin would be the monk. They typically fight unarmed, but are very patient, only taking lawful alignments. They're basically the martial artists of fantasy. And this otter takes that prize, in my opinion.
[li]Paladin[/li]I finally get to do something!! Guys look! Anyhow, I'm throwing this one to Crystal. Oddly enough, this is a class that I won't touch in the game... Hm. The vast majority of the time, the paladin is lawful good, and uses themselves to shield the rest of the part from damage. They're very single minded, one clear goal giving them the strength for their adventure. They're not stealthy, and can actually lose their class status by changing alignments. That's Crys in a nutshell: the honor-bound fanatic.
[li]Ranger[/li]Haven't forgotten you, Keita. This is where I think Kai comes in. Stealthy, preferring ranged combat, and capable of traveling through nearly any terrain. Another little tidbit being that most people playing rangers get into trouble when they don't have enough wisdom for their few spells... And I think Kai's cheerful, optimistic persona could relate.
[li]Rogue[/li]Oh no no no. You all think I'm picking Kaede. Well I'm not. We'd have to prestige to get to her. Actually, I'm torn on who to put here. Perhaps our newest edition Triven? Hmmm, choices...
[li]Sorcerer[/li]I have absolutely no idea. Magic is such a weird thing in Redwall...
[li]Wizard[/li]Again, this is hard because of the magic issue but... I'm going to say Riv's Riana. I'm basing this off of personal experience, but in a previous game I've played, the wizard started his training after some traumatic events, and ended up fueling his power with his intense brooding. I wanted to force-feed him cookies just as much as I want to do that to Riana.
[/ul]
So we have Sorcerer, Rogue, and Barbarian left. And I know Kerrin got two, but, hey, his characters fit those roles so well. >:C Also, for those curious, Kaede would be an Assassin/Shadowdancer, thank you. xD
