Thought I would share my afternoon project of colorizing my profile image! Drawing digitally had been quite the challenge for me having learned on pencils, and I have to say that I still love the charm of graphite. It is easier to get down to fine details when you are actually putting a mark at the end of your pencil, rather than drawing indirectly with a graphics tablet, but the ease of color pallet and the cleanness of lines when drawing digitally is unmatched. The lighting was a bit challenging in trying to get it look somewhat natural, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Would love any feedback, always looking to improve. Hope y'all enjoy!
Here is the original just for comparison.

This is awesome! I particularly like the way Dewbelle turned out. The colors add a lot to the image I think and I appreciate how there's a little more clothing than just the traditional green habits/tunics. (I'm trying to say I'm in love with Dewbelle's purple head thingy)

Not exactly a profile picture of anyone here per say, but profile art nonetheless. The inspiration for this aghast Long Patroller came from the trusty hare Edwin of The Adventures of Superstripe the Unrealistic fame, nearer to his time of abject defeatism towards the end of the adventures. His attire is a mix of the uniforms found on the cover of certain editions of Long Patrol, and that of an 1890's British Imperial Army Engineer. The pin on his cap is standard issue, representative of the Fire Mountain, and he wears a campaign medal styled with one clasp. Probably more background than what you needed to understand this, but there it is.

The real reason that hare's are rather off put at being called rabbits. Those buns are rather out of sorts.

Alright, alright, Jasmine and Fyri's recent art finally inspired me to rectify a wrong that was oh so very long in the making... I finally gave these guys whiskers.

Celebes!
Have you read the Five Realms series by Kieran Larwood? Your hare wearing a hare's skull mask made me think of that.
You draw so well! I find digital art really hard.

I haven't Madeline , what's it about? It's actually a rabbit from a Watership Down fanfic, ha ha. Does Five Realms have insane rabbits as well? And thanks! It was a big transition coming over from pencils a few years ago, but I highly recommend trying the jump if you're interested in it. It's much easier to do colors I think. Then again, you and Baron seem pretty good with colored pencils!

It's a post-apocalyptic world in which rabbits have risen as the ruling species. There are good rabbits, evil rabbits, heroic rabbits, insane rabbits, peaceful rabbits, and rabbits set on conquering the world. Oh, and Redwall references because Kieran Larwood is a fellow fan. I read the first 2 books and was like, well, guess I have a new fandom I highly recommend it if you like adventure books where the least likely characters are the ones who rise to be heroes Aw, thanks! Coloured pencils are all I really have much experience with, so I have quite some practice under my belt
