Spring is here, In the air, You can smell it coming, On the trees, Leaves are green, Caterpillars sunning.
Birds are back, Grass is out, Busy bees are humming, On the trees, Leaves are green, Caterpillars sunning.Time to start discussing the official seasonal spring name! Everyone can submit up to 5 potential nameday candidates, and we will vote on the winner after the submission period ends. Try and get as creative as possible, and look back on past season names/submissions if you need inspiration! The winner will get a fancy badge to add to their profile and their name displayed in the site legend for the season, so try and come up with a nifty spring name! Submissions will be open until March 1st, and we'll vote shortly afterwards. ~ Isaiah (now accepting bribes)

Oh boy, are we starting with poems? Can I shamelessly use Skarlath's from Outcast of Redwall?
“I went off to my bed one dark winter’s night, When the ground was all snowy and covered up white, And snug in my blanket I started to dream That the ice had all melted away from the stream. Ooooh! Plip plop, hear the water drop, The larks take wing as the buds go pop! The sun do shine as the birds do sing, Throw open wide the gates of spring!
Then I dreamt that I felt all the earth come awake, And the sky was as blue as a clear mountain lake, And through that old dream a good sound ringing too, ‘Twas the heralding song of a happy cuckoo! Ooooh! Plip plop, hear the water drop, And larks take wing as the buds go pop! And the sun do shine as the birds do sing, Throw open wide the gates if sping!
Fol de rol de lair of lair oh, Hail the newborn day, Spring has made the weather fair of,
Winter’s gone away!”
Oh yeah, and the names: Spring of the Rosy Buds Spring of the Velvet Grass Spring of the Soggy Fields Spring of the Morning Dew Spring of the Leaping Squirrel

There once was a Squirrel from DAB, Who thought poems were terribly drab. As he worded his post, he realised that "most of all, limericks are wonderfully fab!"
alternatively:
Dear judge Isaiah. Please choose my submitted name. A chestnut for you.
Spring of the Pale Blossom Spring of the Lark's Ascent
(I'll probably think of more later XD)

Spring has come at DAB Nameday submissions are here I bid you good luck
(not much of a haiku there)
And now for the names.
The Spring of the Thawing pond The Spring of Bright skies The Spring of the Troublesome Thrush The Spring of the Silver Spring The Spring of the emerging bud.
