From humble beginnings on 23 Dec 2019, our beloved AaL #2 has reached its first 25 post milestone courtesy of Madeline ! That means we get a more readable rehash of the story so far. Hopefully we can get to our next milestone in less than a year this time Enjoy!

Salamandastron loomed in the distance, as a small band of footsore travelers crested the dune. This band, composed entirely of beavers, was pursued by a ferocious beaver-eating beast that had chased them all the way from their hill fort at Dunland. They carried very little hammers and very little chisels, essential tools for the beavers’ trade of carving little wooden knickknacks. They hoped that with their early start, they might have slipped past the beast's lair undetected, but an unfortunate encounter with a wild bees nest had awoken the primal force within Bucktooth, the youngest beaver of the group.

"BEES! Mates, I'm allergic!" he screamed.

From within the cavern of the beast, a deep bellowing roar shouted out, ruffling the feathers of a nearby sparrow. "Better hide," she warned the bees and beavers. "You've disturbed the timber wolf. He is creature of such a scale never before known in Mossflower!" The beavers looked terrified by this news, rushing to pick up what tools they had. Unfortunately, one beaver was left behind amidst the commotion. Only after reaching a nearby thicket did the beavers realize that Bucktooth was missing.

Separated from the others, Bucktooth whimpered. Thinking about what father had said, young Bucky whispered "You're never lost when you can see "Salamandastron's peak."
