Doomwyte The great idol of the birds, reptiles, and amphibians of the underground lair that eventually became a swamp. Gonff, Prince of Mousethieves, stole its eyes (two emeralds and two rubies) and hid them after his wife Columbine rejected them for the evil they had seen. The eyes were eventually found, reunited, and buried near the lair of the Doomwyte idol during the time of Abbot Glisam.

(B-but Madeline, I could find nary an E-word to use! Eulalia already went through in the last A-Z set! ) GuosimShort for the Guerrilla Union of Shrews in Mossflower, the Guosim are a feisty fighting force of shrews that travel via logboat along the River Moss and its tributaries. Their leader is titled the Log-a-log, but a shrew needn't be the strongest to become Log-a-log--sometimes cunning and wit earns them the leadership position. But no matter who holds the title, the Guosim can always be counted on to defend Redwall and the goodbeasts of Mossflower Wood.

(I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of characters whose names start with E ) HarssacssOne of the trio of snakes from the book Triss. The way we meet them is terrifying, long, and drawn-out. I won't spoil the fear for those who haven't read the book

(Ah, amazing alliteration! It always improves things Pity I'm not sure how to do it in this post...) Janglur SwifteyeAppearing to be lazy or asleep, Janglur was a squirrel patriarch in Marlfox. A fierce Warrior and clever tactician, this squirrel used his natural lazy appearance to trick enemies so he could smack them with a loaded sling or shoot them with a dart that he shot through his flute. He also could play this flute, and would do so to the accompaniment of the singing of his daughter, Songbreeze.

Laird Bosie McScutta of Bowlaynee This hare from the Northlands, featured in Doomwyte, while being a perilous and courageous Warrior, was also more of a glutton than most hares. The Redwallers had their work cut out for them keeping him away from the kitchens.

Pawsnettle, Tussa
From the officially licensed Redwall video game, The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout: Act 1, Tussa Pawsnettle is a Scout centred out of Lilygrove, a village located a few days travel southwest of Redwall Abbey. Tussa seems brusque, but she is brave and loyal, a good friend.
(Nobody said anywhere that I wasn't allowed to use things from the video games. These things just have to be in the Redwall universe. So there.)

The Quarry
A location visited in the first book, Redwall, and in a few other books as well. Asmodeus the adder lived deep in the mines of the quarry. It's referenced in several books as being the quarry from which the red sandstone of Redwall Abbey itself was built!
